Hello! My name is Stella. I am born and raised in Massachusetts, graduating from a high school in the North Shore and now based in Lowell, MA.Life tends to pass you by, and I often find it hard to remember everything but one thing that has always been prominent and consistent in my life was creation.I always felt a strong pull to create something. Building my dollhouses from cardboard, filming vlogs I was too shy to upload, taking photos- always finding ways to build something out of nothing.As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized it’s not about “finding your path” but creating yourself-returning to the things that shaped you. For a long time, I’ve always pushed that part of me aside without thinking much of it but, I have come to terms that creating is what I love doing! even when I’ve never formally taken a class or studied the work of art.
I hope that creating and showcasing this portfolio is a step towards a fulfilling path.With all that being said, I have not had formal education in art but I am continuously building a path of my own. What I do have is experience- creating projects myself to share. Not only as expressions of who I am but as a way to support and connect with others. Whether through making social media posts, creating signage, helping with schools, or organizing; I enjoy putting myself out there in the community to help everyone communicate with each other more clearly, all while having fun and consuming the beauty of art! And of course, I have a lot to learn, yet, a strong drive to grow. Working with others to achieve a shared goal is something I have always found fulfilling.What’s the point of anything without a sense of purpose?

thrift store project
Angels Above— A thrift store in Lowell, MA, ran by a woman named Sue who dedicated it to children in need.Inspired by her late daughter who had passed of cancer, she opened up this beautiful shop where proceeds went to Boston Children’s Hospital.I am very into second hand shopping and ever since I moved to Lowell in 2020, this is a shop I most frequented.
The owner Sue and I had developed a friendly bond in which we would have extensive conversations and was very kind to my nephew who I’d bring in to buy toys.Once she had broken the news of closing down due to a raise in rent, I went back home and thought about ways I can help. I remembered I had a camera I hadn’t touched and got an idea. She was the only person running the store, so I knew social media was something I can help with.Later on, I had offered to take photos of her space and set up a facebook page to help spread the word of her message and clear out the shop. She didn’t want to give all of her items to big organizations.

During my job at the Sheraton, following my last days, I offered to design the menus for the coffee bar I worked.We needed a refresh- a clear and concise menu that included updates, hours, and all the options that were available not many people knew about! Along with checklists for newcomers.

A cosmic, space-themed makeup and skincare brand, named "NINIVERSE""Nini" is a personal nickname of mine and made into a word play with "Universe"

color grading
Settings include denoise, sharpening and more adjustment layers of the gifs (contrast, color mixer, channel mixer, selective color, blur, sharpen, use of TOPAZ) with usage of third party editing softwares and plug-ins + custom made action files by me.These were made because I once hosted a blog with followers who requested tutorials for such settings and how I would personally create my graphics and GIFs. Therefore, I would show before and after comparisons!
